My name is Michael Rice and I am a graduate student at Syracuse University in the photography program in the coveted S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. I am doing the studio track for my program where I am taking two studio classes and a fashion photography class.
I am very interested in controlling light and making different moods with it. I like thinking of different ways to light my subjects and getting the technical part of the photograph is key for me. I am working hard on concepts and coming up with good ideas. I am still learning and getting better. I have a lot of new things that I want to do and hopefully I’ll be able to get them done by the end of May.
Anyway, I hope that you enjoy my photos and enjoy learning about me.

I unfortunately was not at the listening party. They had to cut photographers and videographers from their budget. Ergo, I was not there. Sorry
